These demonstrations are intended primarily as training aids, to get new users quickly up-to-speed with the use of our products.
They can also be viewed by people considering a purchase, to receive an appreciation of what out products can do. If you are interested in purchasing our products and require further information please contact sales.
Please note, if viewing these demonstations for training purposes, that they should be viewed in sequence as later demonstrations do not necessarily repeat hints and tips contained in earlier demonstrations.
QuickScript Demonstrations
Demonstration 1 – Single Transaction
This demonstration shows the basic steps involved in:
- making a QuickScript recording;
- entering data for a ‘run' of the script;
- running a script.
The demonstration does this by using the example of a very simple, single, transaction (MK05 – Block Vendor).

Demonstration 2 – Recording a Multi-Transaction Script
This demonstration shows the recording of a multi-transaction script. It shows the recording of two very simple transactions:
- creating a material master using MM01 (basic data view only);
- deleting the newly created material using MM06.
This is a short demonstration as it focuses on making the recording , which is used in the subsequent demonstrations.
Two simple transactions have been chosen to make the demonstration shorter and to make it easier to understand. It is understood that this is not a realistic example!

Demonstration 3 – Using the Wizard
The purpose of the demonstration is to show how the outputs of one transaction can be used as the inputs to another.
The demonstration takes the recording made in the previous demonstration and uses the Wizard to set the input of the delete material transaction (MM06) to be the material number created in the first transaction (MM01).

Demonstration 4 – Running a Multi-Transaction Script
This is a very simple demonstration that just shows the running of the script prepared in the previous two demonstrations.
It shows:
- adding data to the spreadsheet;
- running the script;
- reviewing the run results.

Transact Demonstrations
The Transact demonstrations focus largely on the SAP related aspects of using Transact, e.g. downloading recordings, uploading and executing a batch input session. It is these topics that our users ask about most.
The first two demonstrations are applicable whether preparing for batch input or a direct run, as is the first part of the third demonstration.
Demonstration 1 - Download a Recording From SHDB
This is a short demonstration intended to assist those that are not familiar with downloading recordings from SAP. It does not show the making of the recording, only how to download a previously made recording.

Demonstration 2 - Import and Parameterise a Recording In Transact
This demonstration shows the basic steps required to import a downloaded recording into Transact. The steps shown are:
- importing a recording;
- using the parameterisation wizard;
- creating an excel template.
Demonstration 3 - Prepare, Upload and Run a Batch Input File
This demonstrations has several distinct parts:
- preparing a data file in Excel (note: also applicable to ‘Direct Run');
- creating a file for use in batch input;
- uploading a batch input file to SAP;
- executing the batch input file.
If you are not familiar with executing and analysing the results of a batch input session it is recommended that you refer to SAP's own help documentation.
